Refund Policies
Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.
11th Annual MoTown Throwdown
Each team is guaranteed three (3) games, weather permitting. Refunds will be issued based on the number of games completed or started: - 0 games completed or started: Full refund — $325 (8U division) / $425 (10u/12u/14u) - 1 game completed or started: $200/$275 - 2 or more games completed or started: No refund will be issued. Upon receipt of your entry fee, your team’s registration will be confirmed via email. PLEASE NOTE: The entry fee becomes non-refundable if a team withdraws prior to the start of the tournament. MYGS reserves the right to modify the schedule or format due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
City League
Mosinee Youth Girls Softball (MYGS) understands that circumstances may arise that prevent a player from participating after registration. To ensure fairness and transparency, the following refund policy applies to all City League registrations: Full Refund: A full refund (minus any processing fees) will be issued if a cancellation request is received before team placement or uniforms are ordered. Partial Refund: A 50% refund will be issued if a cancellation request is received after team placement but before the first scheduled game. No Refund: No refunds will be issued after the first scheduled game or in cases of player suspension or dismissal due to a code of conduct violation. Please note that all refund requests must be submitted in writing to the MYGS Board. Refunds may take up to 3–4 weeks to process. MYGS strives to keep registration fees affordable and uses them to cover field maintenance, equipment, uniforms, and operational costs that are incurred well before the season begins.
Middle School League
Mosinee Youth Girls Softball (MYGS) understands that circumstances may change after registration. Because expenses for the 7th & 8th Grade program are planned and incurred ahead of the season, the refund policy below will apply to all participants: Full Refund: A full refund (minus processing fees) will be granted if a cancellation request is received before uniforms are ordered and team rosters are finalized. Partial Refund: A 50% refund will be granted if a cancellation request is received after uniforms are ordered but before the first scheduled game. No Refund: No refunds will be issued once the first scheduled game has taken place, or in the event of suspension or dismissal due to a violation of MYGS policies or codes of conduct. Medical or Special Circumstances: Refund requests due to injury, illness, or other significant circumstances will be reviewed case-by-case by the MYGS Board. Documentation may be requested to support the review. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the MYGS Board. Please allow up to 3–4 weeks for processing. These policies help MYGS maintain program quality, support operational costs, and plan responsibly for the season. Thank you for your understanding and support of our student-athletes.
Travel League
Mosinee Youth Girls Softball (MYGS) Travel Teams operate on a pre-planned budget that covers tournament fees, uniforms, equipment, and other team expenses incurred well before the season begins. Because of this, refunds are limited and follow the guidelines below: Before Rosters Are Finalized: A full refund (minus processing fees) will be issued if a player withdraws prior to official team placement and tournament registration. After Rosters Are Finalized but Before Uniforms Are Ordered: A 50% refund will be issued if a player withdraws after being placed on a team but before uniforms and tournament entries are purchased. After Uniforms or Tournament Fees Are Paid: No refunds will be issued once uniforms have been ordered or tournament fees have been submitted, as these costs are non-recoverable by MYGS. Injury or Special Circumstances: Refund requests due to medical reasons or other extenuating circumstances will be reviewed case-by-case by the MYGS Board. Supporting documentation may be required. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the MYGS Board. Please allow up to 4 weeks for processing. MYGS appreciates your understanding and commitment to the program—these policies help ensure financial stability for our teams and fairness for all participating families.
