MYGS Board of Directors

Meet the MYGS Board of Directors — Dedicated to Growing Softball and Our Community

For the first time in many years, Mosinee Youth Girls Softball (MYGS) is proud to announce that our Board of Directors is officially full! This milestone represents an exciting new chapter for our organization—one filled with fresh ideas, diverse experience, and a shared passion for making MYGS the best it can be for our athletes and families.

What the Board of Directors Does

The MYGS Board of Directors is the backbone of our organization. This group of dedicated volunteers oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of everything that makes our program possible. From managing registration and scheduling games, to organizing tournaments, fundraising, and maintaining facilities—the board works behind the scenes to ensure that every season runs smoothly.

Beyond logistics, our board is also focused on building a strong and supportive environment where players can grow not only as athletes but as teammates, leaders, and members of the community.

When and Where the Board Meets

The MYGS Board of Directors meets once a month at the Dessert Park warming house, typically on the second Sunday of each month (except December). These meetings are an opportunity to discuss upcoming events, plan for the season, review finances, and collaborate on new initiatives to enhance the player and family experience.

Community members are always welcome to attend meetings, share feedback, and learn more about what goes into running our youth softball program.

The Power of Volunteering

Volunteers are the heart of MYGS. Every coach, board member, and event helper plays an important role in creating opportunities for our young athletes. Volunteering doesn’t just benefit the organization—it strengthens the entire Mosinee community. By giving your time, you help teach teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship to the next generation, while ensuring that our local programs continue to thrive.

Whether you’re assisting at games, helping with tournaments, or serving on a committee, your involvement makes a lasting impact.

A Bright Future Ahead

With a full board of directors, MYGS is entering an exciting period of growth and innovation. Together, we’re working to expand opportunities for our athletes both on and off the field—from leadership development and community engagement to fun events that bring our families closer together.

We’re grateful for the dedication of every volunteer, parent, and player who helps make MYGS possible. With your support, we’ll continue to grow this organization and create meaningful experiences that go far beyond softball.

Together, we are shaping the future of Mosinee Youth Girls Softball—one pitch, one player, and one season at a time.
