Middle School League

The Middle School Softball League was formed in 2025, from a partnership between the the Mosinee Middle School and the Mosinee Youth Girls Softball (MYGS) Organization. This program gives student-athletes the opportunity to represent Mosinee while continuing to grow their skills and love for the game. This program focuses on player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a competitive yet supportive environment.

The Mosinee team competes against other area middle school teams, giving players valuable game experience and a chance to prepare for high school-level play. Bus transportation is provided for away games, ensuring all players can participate and enjoy the full team experience.

Cost

The registration fee for the Mosinee Middle School Softball League is $100 per player. This fee helps cover essential league expenses, including:

  • Jerseys (Please note: Players are responsible for pants, socks, belts, cleats, and face masks.)
  • Bus Transportation to away games (players will need transportation home from games due to bussing limitations)
  • Field maintenance at Dessert Park, Zych Park, and MAC fields
  • Insurance

Middle School Raffle Ticket Requirement – 2026 Season

For the 2026 season, MYGS middle school players are required to purchase five (5) raffle tickets as part of their registration. This fundraising requirement helps offset the higher operational costs associated with middle school level play, including field usage, umpires, equipment, transportation, and league administration. The raffle program allows families to recoup their cost by selling the tickets while directly supporting continued improvements to MYGS programs and facilities that benefit all players in the Mosinee community.

MYGS strives to be transparent with all registration fees, ensuring families know exactly what their contribution supports, keeping softball fun, safe, and accessible for every player.

Jerseys

Players are required to wear their official jersey for every tournament to maintain a consistent team appearance. Jerseys will be provided at the start of the 2026 season and collected from each player at the end of the season.

**Please note that pants, socks, belts, face masks, cleats, and warmup jackets are not provided and must be supplied by the player.

2026 Game Schedule

The game schedule will be updated daily.

Games begin at 4:00. Early release may be required for Away Games.

Grades & Sportsmanship

The MYGS Middle School Softball program is proud to partner with the Mosinee School District and follows school-based eligibility expectations. Player eligibility includes appropriate academic standing and positive school behavior. Student-athletes are expected to stay current with their schoolwork, demonstrate respectful conduct, and represent MYGS, their school, and their community in a positive manner. We place a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, and encouragement — teaching our players to support one another and model the values of great teammates both on and off the field.
